JACK U, CHET FAKER, ERIC PRYDZ, GHOSTLAND OBSERVATORY, DUKE DUMONT, CLAUDE VON STROKE, E-40, CUT COPY (DJ SET) and CASHMERE CAT are among the headliners announced today for the fifth annual SNOWGLOBE MUSIC FESTIVAL in LAKE TAHOE, CA, on DECEMBER 29th-31st. Hosted in the heart of the SIERRA NEVADA MOUNTAINS, the outdoor winter festival features more than 50 world-class artists performing on multiple stages over three nights and culminating in a NEW YEAR'S EVE firework display.
SNOWGLOBE is not just a music festival, but also a ski/snowboard adventure and destination NEW YEAR'S EVE celebration all rolled into one.
In 2014, the SNOWGLOBE MUSIC FESTIVAL donated $10,000 back into the community of SOUTH LAKE TAHOE – via organizations such as KEEP TAHOE BLUE - dedicated to preserving the environmental balance, scenic beauty, and recreational opportunities of the TAHOE BASIN, to the SOUTH LAKE TAHOE POLICE CANINE ASSOCATION, and CHRISTMAS CHEER, INC., offering family services to the local community. The concert takes place at BIJOU PARK on the LAKE TAHOE COMMUNITY COLLEGE campus,
SNOWGLOBE is partnering with HOTELS FOR HOPE as its exclusive lodging reservation partner. For every night a lodging accommodation is booked by SNOWGLOBE patrons, $2 will be donated to local not-for-profit CHRISTMAS CHEER, INC., which works year round to service food, clothing, shoes, toys and household items to area families and individuals in need.
