Kudos to CUMULUS Country KSCS/DALLAS for raising more than $205,000 towards COOK CHILDREN’S, a CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK hospital, during the station’s 2nd Annual radiothon for the facility. This year’s total bettered last year’s tote of just over $121,000.
The one-day event took place from 6a-7p (CT) on WEDNESDAY (10/7) at COOK CHILDREN’S, with KSCS staffers MARK “HAWKEYE” LOUIS, KATELYN “CONNECTED K” MAIDA, MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ and JASMINE SADRY broadcasting live and sharing patient, parent and hospital staff stories throughout the day.
Money raised will be used to fund all of the daily operations at the hospital including, but not limited to, the daily care of patients and their families, as well maintaining equipment that is up-to-date with the latest advances in medicine and technology. Pictures from the radiothon are posted on the station site here.
