BEASLEY MEDIA Top 40 WNKS (KISS 95.1)/CHARLOTTE morning crew MANEY, ROY and LAUREN were live from the ROCK HILL location of NEWK’S EATERY on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7th, asking listeners to donate bottled water to help those affected by the most recent flooding in COLUMBIA, SC.

The listeners immediately rallied, and donated a total of 250,000 bottles of bottled water to help their neighbors in distress. One listener volunteered to use his 18-wheeler to transport the bottles to a shelter for victims of the historic SC flooding.

“After 14 hours, I helped fill a tractor trailer and delivered it all to a disaster shelter. I rest at home with my thoughts and prayers with those in SOUTH CAROLINA who lost theirs,” said ROY BROWN of KISS mornings. “Words can't describe how amazing and powerful it was to see our community pull together. There are so many people, businesses, military platoons, fire fighters and police officers that helped our morning show today, and unfortunately I simply can't name them all. Thank you so much for helping our neighbors in need.”
