New startup SONGTRADR gives artists an opportunity to have their songs reach music supervisors, advertising agencies and anyone that is a “buyer” of music. On SONGTRADR, artists own and control 100% of their rights, allowing users to set a price for any kind of license with the only cost a 17.5% transaction fee only when someone uses your music.
The platform also allows artists to connect with any other owners of their song (co-writers, publisher, labels, etc.) so that their work is ready to go, making the licensing purchase easy, efficient and fast.
SONGTRADR is also a free content management system, circumventing the need to search hard drives, send MP3s, nor use DROPBOX or SOUNDCLOUD. Users can upload as many songs as they want, using any file format and SONGTRADR gives them the tools they need to share, pitch and easily monetize their music.
