iHeartRadio Introduces Pandora-like 'My Favorites Radio'

iHEARTRADIO has introduced a new PANDORA-like service that the company says, "that draws from our sophisticated algorithm and further emphasizes human curation."

Called "My Favorites Radio," the new feature gives users their very own personalized radio station that mixes genres in the process. So for example, if you like rap and country, you'll be able to hear all of your favorites from FETTY WAP to KACEY MUSGRAVES and more all in one "My Favorites Radio" station, as if you had your very own personal DJ that plays only your requests.

My Favorites Radio will also become smarter and more personalized as a user listens throughout the service and thumbs up or skips songs. Additionally, users will get to name their My Favorites Radio.

On the iHEARTRADIO blog, they wrote, "iHEARTRADIO is introducing “My Favorites Radio” -- your very own radio station. That’s right, this station is all about you! Now, all your favorite songs, artists and genres are mixed into a single station. And get this — the station gets even smarter and more personalized as you listen, favorite and thumb up different stations, songs and artists."
