Sam Hunt Scores Three 'American Music Award' Nominations

Newcomer SAM HUNT leads Country artists with three “AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS” nominations, which were announced this MORNING (10/13) by JOE JONAS and CHARLIE PUTH during ABC-TV’s “Good Morning AMERICA.” TAYLOR SWIFT leads all nominees with six nods.
JASON ALDEAN, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE and HUNT were all double nominees in the Country division, while BRYAN and HUNT received Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year nods respectively, in the all-genre category. ALDEAN, FGL and HUNT will compete for Country Album of the Year, with ALDEAN, BRYAN and HUNT vying for Country’s Favorite Male Artist crown. Rising star KELSEA BALLERINI joins veterans MIRANDA LAMBERT and CARRIE UNDERWOOD in Country’s Favorite Female Artist category.
JENNIFER LOPEZ will host and perform on the “2015 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS,” which will broadcast live from the MICROSOFT THEATER in LOS ANGELES on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd at 8p (ET) on ABC. Country nominees listed below:
