NextRadio and CBI Announce Radio Spot Contest Winners

NEXTRADIO and COLLEGE BROADCASTERS, INC. (CBI) have announced the winner of the College Radio Spot Contest. THOMAS BAKER III, a freshman at LINCOLN COLLEGE in LINCOLN, IL won the contest with his creative radio spot entitled, Data Pigs. The radio spot will be featured in the fourth flight of the NEXTRADIO NATIONAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN running OCTOBER 1st through DECEMBER 31st, 2015.
The college contest winning radio spot, Data Pigs calls out the music streaming apps that use a majority of consumers’ data. The radio spot features NEXTRADIO as the solution to saving consumers’ data and battery life while enjoying local FM radio on their smartphones.
In addition to the radio spot included in the fourth flight of the national campaign, THOMAS will also enjoy a trip to CBI’s NATIONAL STUDENT ELECTRONIC MEDIA CONVENTION (NSEMC) taking place OCTOBER 22nd-24th. NEXTRADIO has provided THOMAS’ registration, flight and two-night hotel stay.

"We are getting great results from the National Awareness Campaign and hope that all broadcasters will run THOMAS’ radio spot and others from the campaign."
