Condolences to family and friends of ARKANSAS Circuit Court Judge and radio station owner L.T. SIMES II, who died SATURDAY (10/10) in ST. LOUIS of complications from leukemia at 65, according to ASSOCIATED PRESS.
SIMES served as a Judge from 1996 through his 2009 suspension by the ARKANSAS Supreme Court for violation of judicial rules, then was re-elected in 2010 and served on the bench until his passing. He owned DELTA FORCE II RADIO NETWORK, consisting of Urban KCLT/WEST HELENA, AR, KAKJ/MARIANNA, AR, and WNEV/FRIARS POINT, MS, and hosted "SUNDAY SCHOOL IN REVIEW" on the stations.
