Kudos to BIG GASSED RECORDS Country artist JAMEY JOHNSON, who came together with other members of the music community to raise more than $100K to support the fight against PANCREATIC CANCER. On WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd, JOHNSON performed at MARATHON MUSIC WORKS in NASHVILLE with friends JERROD NIEMANN, RANDY HOUSER and SHOOTER JENNINGS to raise more than $45,000. He also hosted the FOURTH ANNUAL JAMEY JOHNSON GOLF TOURNAMENT in his native ALABAMA to raise $67,000 for the cause.
JOHNSON performed a few days later with HOUSER, T.GRAHAM BROWN and many more, raising over $4,000 and donating 114 new toys for the U.S. Marines' TOYS FOR TOTS program. All of the proceeds from the events benefited the NIKKI MITCHELL FOUNDATION, which funds pancreatic research throughout the nation with a focus on prevention and patient care.
