NEW YORK Congressman JERROLD NADLER, the ranking member of the HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE'S SUBCOMITTEE ON COURTS, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND THE INTERNET along with local members of the RECORDING ACADEMY will gather at NEW YORK's JUNGLE CITY STUDIOS tomorrow (OCTOBER 14th) at 1p (ET) to discuss important legislative issues that impact music makers and the future music economy.
As part of THE RECORDING ACADEMY’s national GRAMMYS IN MY DISTRICT campaign, more than 1,650 music creators are meeting with their hometown legislative representatives across 330 Congressional districts TOMORROW to discuss the need for reform in music legislation and encourage support of the FAIR PLAY FAIR PAY ACT to ensure fair compensation for performers, songwriters and studio professionals for terrestrial radio airplay.
