Two people were arraigned in a MASSACHUSETTS court TUESDAY (10/13) on a charge of motor vehicle homicide in the JUNE death of CUMULUS News-Talk WPRO-A-WEAN/PROVIDENCE board operator and producer JAROD GAGNON.
CBS affiliate WPRI-TV reports that SAMANTHA KEWER and JOSEPH ARRAIOL were arraigned in TAUNTON District Court, accused of dangerous driving -- KEWER and ARRAIOL were accused by Assistant District Attorney MICHAEL SHEEHAN of chasing each other at high speed on Route 44 in RAYNHAM, MA on JUNE 25th. The prosecution alleges that at one point, ARRAIOL cut in front of KEWER, slammed his brakes, and caused KEWER's brakes to lock up and drift into the opposite lane, causing the fatal head-on crash.
GAGNON has been with WPRO part-time as a board op and producer since 2008.
