MUSICMASTER announced today the addition of Version 6.0 to its Windows-based music scheduling line. Among the bevy of new features are:
• Recursive Scheduling for Migrating Positions - With Recursive Scheduling, millions of combinations are checked as each song is tested in every possible clock position. This places the best songs in the best possible positions within each hour.
• Rule Filter Tool - In the Song Replacement Dialog, you can now see how many songs are being blocked by your rules and which rules blocked them. You can then temporarily disable any rule for that position to allow more songs to pick from.
• History Snapshot - This feature allows you to compare your log at any point in time with the current version of the log. You can create as many Snapshots of a log as you'd like.
• Library Query Element - In your clock, you can create a filter based on any combination of song fields. When this element gets scheduled, only songs matching your filters get tested.
“I’ve been kicking around the concept of Recursive Scheduling for nearly 20 years and I’m very excited to finally share it with our clients,” MUSICMASTER Pres./CEO JOE KNAPP said.
“Version 6 is an exciting release," MUSICMASTER VP/CTO SCOTT WIRT added. "I always love bringing the wishes of our customers to life and creating new functionality to advance the art of music scheduling, and this update does both.”
