MUMFORD & SONS, KENDRICK LAMAR, SKRILLEX, FUTURE, MIGUEL, FETTY WAP, BIG GRAMS (BIG BOI + PHANTOGRAM), GRACE POTTER and JASON ISBELL will top the lineup at this year's OKEECHOBEE MUSIC & ARTS CENTER in FLORIDA, MARCH 4th, 5th and 6th, 2016.
The event is centrally located at FLORIDA's SUNSHINE GROVE (12517 NE 91st Avenue, OKEECHOBEE, FL 34972) on over 800 acres of pristine grasslands, clear lakes and exotic tropical woodlands. Signature new venues like AQUACHOBEE provide the perfect place to relax and hangout by the lakeside swimming beach and bar. The LOST JUNGLE offers an immersive dusk-til-dawn dance music experience, and an assortment of spectacular multi-media art installations will dot the landscape surrounding the wooded VIP camping areas. The FESTIVAL will also feature a wide array of locally sourced treats from some of FLORIDA's most popular food trucks, craft beer makers, and artisanal purveyors. Environmental and other socially conscious campaigns will be presented, as well as yoga, meditation, and holistic workshops.
"We want to present a more intimate experience in our first year so we are limiting the capacity to about half the size of other major AMERICAN festivals," commented SOUNDSLINGER Founder/Chief Creative Officer PAUL PECK. "We have an incredibly special property and the opportunity to do something really special here, and we want to make sure we do it right."Passes for OKEECHOBEE MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL will go on sale TODAY (THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15th) at 10a (ET). For complete ticketing information, visit www.okeechobeefest.com.
In addition to international touring artists, FLORIDA-based musicians will also be featured prominently on multiple stages during the three-day event. Details about the ARTIST ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM, designed to include FLORIDA's diverse community of musicians, will be announced soon.
