ALL ACCESS is sad to learn that Contemporary Christian FAMILY LIFE RADIO Founder WARREN BOLTHOUSE passed away at his home in TUCSON on MONDAY, OCTOBER 12th. WARREN was 88 and was preceded in death by his wife, CHAR, in 2007.
FAMILY LIFE RADIO was born in the basement studio of the BOLTHOUSE home, starting with a 30-minute radio program. Expanded airtime was soon given and then FAMILY LIFE RADIO’s first station was on the air in MASON, MICHIGAN in 1966.
Over the course of 30 years under WARREN’s leadership, FAMILY LIFE RADIO grew into a nationwide radio network with numerous radio stations, translators, educational ministries and the flagship program INTENTIONAL LIVING with DR. RANDY CARLSON. FAMILY LIFE RADIO now covers over 16 million people in 40 cities and countless others online and through mobile streaming.
