Concert To Raise Money To Fight Cancer

ALPHA MEDIA Hot AC WXMA (102.3 THE MAX)/LOUISVILLE will be holding their annual breast cancer benefit concert “Pinktober” this FRIDAY (10/16) at HARD ROCK CAFÉ.

Alongside this year’s headliner, RACHEL PLATTEN, a special performance has been added to join RACHEL on the stage. The acapella choir from Eastern High School, “E MAJOR” will help PLATTEN perform her #1 single “Fight Song” as well as her new single “Stand By You”.  The choir went viral early in OCTOBER when a video of their performance of “Fight Song” was featured on 102.3 THE MAX. Following the success of the online video, E MAJOR began a fundraising effort in honor of Pinktober with a goal of raising $1 for every view the video gained to be donated at FRIDAY’s event.

Proceeds from the night’s ticket sales and live auction will go to directly benefit SUSAN G. KOMEN OF LOUISVILLE.
