GREATER MEDIA Sports WMGC (DETROIT SPORTS 105.1)/DETROIT afternoon host DREW LANE has exited the station after he and the company failed to reach agreement on a new contract. LANE, the former morning “DREW AND MIKE” co-host on sister Rock WRIF, joined DETROIT SPORTS 105.1 in AUGUST 2013.

“DREW is a phenomenal talent and has been a valued member of the GREATER MEDIA family for over 21 years. Both sides regret an agreement could not be reached on the direction of the show moving forward. We are truly sorry to see him go and wish him all the best."

Middayer MATT DERY will fill in as interim afternoon host.
