Lawrence And Harvey No Longer On WDAF

ENTERCOM Country WDAF/KANSAS CITY longtime morning man DAVID LAWRENCE has decided to hang up his head phones, at least full time. LAWRENCE tells the KANSAS CITY STAR, "I’m hanging it up. I have a lot going on in my life. Nothing to do with radio.” He cites the death of his mother and two brothers in the past year as reasons. He will continue to host a weekend show and do special project for the station.

In other WDAF news, legendary syndicated news man PAUL HARVEY is being dropped from the station. The reason cited is his failure to connect with a younger audience. To read more about the changes just click here.
