Rivet Radio Adds Podcasts, 'Follow' Feature

RIVET RADIO has added podcasts and a "follow" function to its customizable news audio mobile app.

The "follow" feature allows listeners to pick and follow specific topics, shows, hosts or producers.  In addition, the app now offers access to popular public radio podcasts including NPR's "WAIT WAIT... DON'T TELL ME," WBEZ/CHICAGO's "THIS AMERICAN LIFE," and WNYC/NEW YORK's "FREAKONOMICS RADIO" and "RADIOLAB."

VP/Podcasts JUDY MACLEOD said, “The new Follow feature, coupled with our addition of premiere podcasts, creates an even richer and more tailored listening experience for all users.  We recognize the remarkable demand for a thriving form of audio storytelling like podcasts, and are working to bring 200 leading podcasts to our listeners by the end of this month.”
