Bob Pittman Tells JD Power Auto Roundtable About The Importance Of Radio Advertising

iHEARTMEDIA Chairman/CEO BOB PITTMAN spoke WEDNESDAY (10/21) at the JD POWER Automotive Marketing Roundtable in LAS VEGAS about the importance of using radio to market cars.
During his presentation to the automotive marketing industry, PITTMAN made points that demonstrated radio's key role in the consumer purchasing process; its unchanged position as the #1 reach medium across all demographics, including Millennials. He showed data that 93% of Millennials 18-34 listen to radio weekly, where only 80% use a smartphone and 76% watch TV.
PITTMAN pointed out that radio is both digital and mobile; that radio is even more important as consumers become more connected than ever. One chart (below) showed that radio listening has remained steady from 1970 through 2015.
PITTMAN wrapped up stressing the critical role radio plays in the automotive purchasing process.
