Condolences to family and friends of  ALPHA MEDIA News-Talk KTSA-A-K296GK/SAN ANTONIO reporter and former KONO-A, WOAI-A, KAJA (KJ-97), KTFM, and KSMG (MAGIC 105.3) personality JOHNNY SHANNON, who died MONDAY (10/27) of liver cancer at 70, according to the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS.

SHANNON, a TEXAS RADIO HALL OF FAME member was with KTSA for 10 years and previously spent most of his career since 1970 in the SAN ANTONIO market, with stints at WOR-A and WXLO (99X)/NEW YORK, KNOW-A and KEYI/AUSTIN, and KILT-A-F/HOUSTON as well.
