WGH/Norfolk, VA PD Mark McKay Doing Well After Surgery

ALL ACCESS continues to send well wishes and positive thoughts out to MAX MEDIA Country WGH/NORFOLK, VA PD/afternoon personality MARK MCKAY, who underwent two surgical procedures YESTERDAY (10/26), part of his recovery from a seven-month battle with cancer (NET NEWS 10/23).

“The first procedure was the actual removal of the tumor and the second was plastic surgery to repair what was done from the first surgery,” said MAX MEDIA/NORFOLK Dir./Programming JOHN SHOMBY.  “Both, as far as we know, went well. The recuperation process is going to be long and, somewhat, tedious; they [MARK and wife CHRISTI] are required to stay in NEW YORK CITY for two weeks.” On FRIDAY (10/23), MCKAY said he expected to be away from work until at least MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9th.
