Popular SAN DIEGO-based "Lick The Plate" can now be heard on ENTERCOM SAN DIEGO stations Alternative KBZT (FM 94/9), Country KSON (97.3 FM) and AC KIFM (EASY 98.1), starting NOVEMBER 2nd.
The show was formerly on Christian KPRI, recently sold by COMPASS RADIO GROUP to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION, intervewing over 250 chefs, restaurateurs, growers, brewers and culinary personalities during its four years. It will now run on three top-rated SAN DIEGO stations.
"While the past four years at KPRI have been a great place to build the 'Lick The Plate' brand, joining the ENTERCOM group of stations in SAN DIEGO will enable us to take it to another level altogether," said host DAVID BOYLAN, adding, "Not only will we be able to expose the talent driving the culinary community in SAN DIEGO to a much wider audience, but we will have an opportunity for a far greater impact on these stations revenue than we did in the past with our original content, event, and promotions. I am also bringing sponsor STELLAR SOLAR over to help launch the show. This is a win-win for the show and ENTERCOM SAN DIEGO and we can't wait to get back on the air NOVEMBER 2nd."
Added ENTERCOM SAN DIEGO Director Of Sales PAT OSBURN, who first gave 'Lick The Plate' the green light at KPRI four years ago and was quick to scoop up the show when it became available: "DAVID has created a very unique and original format. He has built it into a brand familiar with SAN DIEGANS and is both a great storyteller and a smart marketer. With the power of our three top-rated stations behind the show, this feature and our partnership can only continue to grow."
"Lick The Plate" will air MONDAY through FRIDAY during the first commercial break in the 7p (PT) hour on KBZT, KSON and KIFM.
