WKRQ Announces New Staff Changes

HUBBARD BROADCASTING Hot AC WKRQ (Q102)/CINCINNATI announces some air staff adjustments in the wake of MD/afternoon talent BRIAN DOUGLAS' recent resignation (NET NEWS 10/22). 

APD/evening host JON CURL will now co-host afternoons with LAURA POWELL.  CURL has been with Q102 since 2007. 

Traffic reporter MOLLIE WATSON moves to nights, and new addition TORIA CANNON takes over morning and afternoon traffic reporting duties.

According to JON CURL, "I am overjoyed and humbled to have such an opportunity! I am excited to start my next chapter here alongside LAURA POWELL and with the rest of my Q102 family. It has truly been a blessing to be a part of this staff!"

MOLLIE WATSON commented, "I am excited for this next step in my radio career!  Hosting my own radio show has always been a dream of mine, I am ecstatic that it has become a reality."   

Q102 PD PATTI MARSHALL said, "We are in a great position with these three stepping up!"

VP/Market Manager MIKE FREDRICK added, "Their hard work and passion made them the obvious choice for these positions.  I couldn’t be happier for both of them."
