Seena Akita Named KAMP/Los Angeles Social Media Manager

CBS RADIO LOS ANGELES has upped SEENA AKITA to the role of Social Media Manager.  SEENA will continue to be heard on Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP) from 12mid-5a while helping to oversee social networks for KAMP and clustermates KROQ, KCBS, KTWV and KRTH.

CBS RADIO SVP/Programming and KAMP PD KEVIN WEATHERLY said, “Social media has taken a front-seat to everything we do. We are able to engage with current listeners and speak to potential listeners as well by involving them on a more personal level. Given her experience developing and growing social presence in her past markets, SEENA is the right choice to lead those efforts for the L.A. cluster.”

Prior to CBS RADIO LOS ANGELES, SEENA held on-air positions at iHEARTRADIO SAN FRANCISCO stations KYLD (WILD 94.9) and KIOI (STAR 101.3); KOSO (HITRADIO 92.9)/MODESTO; and KDND (107.9 THE END)/SACRAMENTO.  She was also previously the Social Media Manager for iHEARTRADIO SANFRANCISCO.
