This year's edition of SIRIUSXM NBA RADIO's "YEAR ONE" series hosted by rookie players will be the CHARLOTTE HORNETS' FRANK KAMINSKY and the DETROIT PISTONS' STANLEY JOHNSON. KAMINSKY, the UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN product, and JOHNSON, drafted from the UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA, will alternate hosting the show THURSDAYS at 7p (ET) throughout the season, beginning TOMORROW (10/29). The show has been hosted in the past by PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS guard C.J. MCCOLLUM and ORLANDO MAGIC forward AARON GORDON.
“Hosting YEAR ONE is going to be awesome,” said JOHNSON. “I can’t wait to share my rookie experience with the listeners. I want to bring a lot of new and interesting topics to the show this year ... really bring the audience into my everyday life. I hope the fans will see that I’m a pretty interesting guy and enjoy being on this journey with me.”
“I am so excited to be hosting my first ever radio show and to have the chance to talk to the fans directly every other week,” KAMINSKY said. “Most people know I like to have fun with life, so I think the show will be a great way to share all of my different interests. I’ll explore all of the good food and entertainment in my new NBA city and take the audience along as I travel around the league. I can’t wait to get started.”
