YOUTUBE RED has launched in the U.S., a new membership that allows you to enjoy videos across the app without ads, while also letting you save videos to watch offline on your phone or tablet and play videos in the background, all for $9.99 a month (NET NEWS 10/21). A free 30-day trial is also being offered.

A YOUTUBE RED membership works anywhere you sign into YOUTUBE, whether it’s across mobile devices, desktop, connected TVs, or on the recently launched Gaming app or upcoming Music app. As a special bonus, YOUTUBE RED  works with GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC, so subscribing to one will automatically get access to the other.
