Mike Shepard Upped To VP/Programming & Operations At Broadcast Company Of The Americas/San Diego

BROADCAST COMPANY OF THE AMERICAS has upped Programming and Operations Manager MIKE SHEPARD to VP/Programming and Operations.

SHEPARD joined BCA, operator of Sports XEPRS-A (MIGHTY 1090), Sports XEPE-A (ESPN 1700 AM), and Classic Hits XHPRS (105.7 MAX FM)/SAN DIEGO, in MAY 2011 and previously served as VP/Programming and Operations at the former crosstown JEFFERSON PILOT (now ENTERCOM) cluster and in senior management roles at MOYES RESEARCH, PINNACLE MEDIA RESEARCH, P1 RESEARCH, and his own SHEPARD MEDIA RESEARCH.

SHEPARD said, “JAY MEYERS (CEO) and MIKE GLICKENHAUS (President) have created a strategic vision for BCA as a multi-media company and I’m honored in their confidence in me we as we fulfill that vision. BCA is one of the remaining “great places” in our industry and I’m excited about our future”.
