SESAC 2015 Nashville Music Awards

SESAC kicked off CMA week by celebrating the songwriters and publishers behind this year's Country songs at the annual NASHVILLE MUSIC AWARDS banquet YESTERDAY (11/1) in NASHVILLE. SESAC's TIM FINK and SHANNON HATCH co-hosted the award ceremony, which took place at the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME. Award recipients included: Songwriter Of The Year CARY BARLOWE; Song Of The Year "Homegrown" written by ZAC BROWN, NIKO MOON, and WYATT DURETTE, as performed by ZAC BROWN BAND; and Publisher Of The Year MAGIC MUSTANG MUSIC.

Country Performance Activity Awards were also awarded to the following: ZAC BROWN BAND for "Homegrown" written by BROWN, MOON, and DURETTE, and "Loving You Easy" written by BROWN and MOON; THOMAS RHETT for "Make Me Wanna" written by LARRY MCCOY; RANDY HOUSER for "Like A Cowboy" written by BRICE LONG, and "Goodnight Kiss" written by ROB HATCH; FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE for "Sun Daze" written by BARLOWE; DUSTIN LYNCH for "Where It's At (Yep, Yep)" written by BARLOWE and "Hell Of A Night" written by JARON BOYER; COLE SWINDELL for "Ain't Worth The Whiskey" written by JOSH MARTIN; MICHAEL RAY for "Kiss You In The Morning" written by JUSTIN WILSON; RASCAL FLATTS for "Riot" written by BOYER; LADY ANTEBELLUM for "Freestyle" "Long Stretch Of Love" and "Bartender" written by HILLARY SCOTT; JOE NICHOLS for "Hard To Be Cool" written by HATCH; LEE BRICE for "I Don't Dance" written by HATCH; and JERROD NIEMANN for "Drink To That All Night" written by LANCE MILLER.
