Condolences to family and friends of AMERISTREAM BROADCASTING CEO PERRY MANNO, who died OCTOBER 25th of a heart attack at 56.
"Please join me in mourning the death of PERRY MANNO, CEO of AMERISTREAMLIVE.COM and a vital force in the success of SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS ON THE RADIO," the latter show's host GREG WILLIAMS posted at FACEBOOK. "He passed away this past SUNDAY. As the man behind AMERISTREAM BROADCASTING, PERRY provided a platform for creative radio producers to 'do their thang,' with shows like THE FAKE SHOW PODCAST, BEATLES WEEKLY, and of course, SMC. From the beginning of our friendship, PERRY and I were able to share a common thought that, as radio was evolving rather than dying, we could make a deference (sic). I believe you did, PERRY. Thanks for the opportunity to share in that success."
MANNO hosted a syndicated talk show, "THE CUTTING EDGE WITH PERRY MANNO," for MID-YORK RADIO SYNDICATION AND CONSULTING, based at WRIV-A/RIVERHEAD, NY, where he served as morning host and PD; he also worked at WGHT-A/POMPTON LAKES, NJ and TALK RADIO NETWORK.
