91X/San Diego Announces Lineup For Wrex The Halls Holiday Concert

LOCAL MEDIA SAN DIEGO Alternative XTRA-F (91X) announced an international lineup of performers for "91X WREX THE HALLS," happening SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13th at VALLEY VIEW CASINO CENTER. The 91X holiday concert  features JANE’S ADDICTION, FOALS, RUN THE JEWELS, PVRIS, THE WOMBATS, WILL AND THE PEOPLE, and a local band to be announced.  

Heritage Alt band JANE’S ADDICTION are from LOS ANGELES, RUN THE JEWELS and PVRIS are up and comers from the EAST COAST, while FOALS, THE WOMBATS and WILL AND THE PEOPLE hail from OXFORD, LIVERPOOL, and WHITE WALTHAM, ENGLAND, respectively. One final band from SAN DIEGO will be added using resources from startup GigTown, a free mobile app that makes it easier than ever for local music fans and venues to discover, follow and book their favorite musical artists.

“We searched far and wide to curate WREX THE HALLS this year, and I’m stoked,” said 91X PD HALLORAN. “We have JANE'S ADDICTION, who bring a cult-like following and is fronted by former ENCINITAS resident, the man who started LOLLAPALOOZA, PERRY FARRELL.  Then we have FOALS, THE WOMBATS and WILL AND THE PEOPLE, bands from ‘across the pond’ who are massively popular at home.  RUN THE JEWELS was a must-see performance at COACHELLA this year, and I’m thrilled to present them in SAN DIEGO.  Speaking of festivals, PVRIS are making waves on the festival circuit, I’m thrilled to see them and all the bands on DECEMBER 13.”

WREX THE HALLS tickets are on-sale at 10a TODAY to listeners registered with 91X’s e-mail and texting lists.  Tickets go on-sale to the public FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6th at 10a.
