He's not at SIRIUSXM anymore and he admits he doesn't know what HOWARD STERN's plans are, but that didn't stop former SIRIUSXM CEO MEL KARMAZIN from speculating on CNBC's "SQUAWK BOX" WEDNESDAY (11/4) about STERN's possible landing spots after his contract with the satellite service ends.
KARMAZIN suggested that because STERN owns his library of content, "he could syndicate it. He doesn't have to work anymore. He could either sell his company or he could do a 'LAW AND ORDER,' a 'FRIENDS,' a 'SEINFELD' and make a whole bunch of money because everyone is in need of content... (he) could also do something, arguably a la NETFLIX-type.... He does the video ... it could be a TV show that could be available worldwide." He also pointed to APPLE MUSIC as a possibility, but concluded that "my bet would be he would stay (at SIRIUSXM), but I really don't have an idea."
