ABC-TV said TODAY (11/5) via the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION that the “49TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS” was a ratings winner, powering the network to a #1 finish for WEDNESDAY night (11/4) among total viewers (at 13.6 million) and adults 18-49, a demo which posted a 3.8 rating and 12 share.
The annual awards show, broadcast live from NASHVILLE, swept the night for ABC-TV in all key demos: Adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, helping the network to a #1 rank for the opening WEDNESDAY of NOVEMBER sweeps for a third straight year.
In spite of that, the CMA AWARDS’ year-to-year performance was down in both rating and total viewers compared to 2014, dipping by 0.7 and 2.3 million, respectively, according to ZAP2IT.
