WXRV’s ‘River Feast’ Returns For 12th Year

NORTHEAST BROADCASTING Triple WXRV (92.5 THE RIVER)/BOSTON has announced MATT NATHENSON and KALEO will perform at the radio station’s annual RIVERFEAST benefit concert at the BLUE OCEAN MUSIC HALL on SALISBURY BEACH SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14th.

All net proceeds benefit THE GREATER BOSTON FOOD BANK (GBFB) and its hunger relief efforts.

RIVER PD MATT PHIPPS said, “It’s a thrill to be able to have BOSTON’s own MATT NATHANSON perform at this year’s RIVERFEAST.  This great benefit concert not only creates a lot of awareness for THE GREATER BOSTON FOOD BANK, it also raises a lot of money for when it’s needed most.”

According to CATHERINE D’AMATO, GBFB President & CEO, the generosity of the RIVER’s audience these past 12 years has made a real difference.  “RIVER listeners know that food insecurity in MASSACHUSETTS hurts people of every age and background.  By attending RIVERFEAST, RIVER listeners help provide nutritious meals to those who might otherwise go hungry.”
