DOT RECORDS artist STEVEN TYLER has announced TODAY (11/9) his new charity, STEVEN TYLER'S JANIE’S FUND, which supports abused and neglected girls. JANIE'S FUND was inspired by TYLER's hit song, "JANIE's Got A Gun," originally released on NOVEMBER 8th, 1989, and his growing desire to help those who have shared their stories with him.
TYLER has been teasing this announcement on social media by sending his signature microphone stand to various celebrities, including CARRIE UNDERWOOD, BONO, ELTON JOHN, BRITNEY SPEARS and more, who have posted on social media outlets with the hashtag, "#NOV9." UNDERWOOD recently posted on FACEBOOK, "Thanks for the awesome mic stand, STEVEN TYLER! Can't wait to see what it's for..." TODAY on the 26th anniversary of "JANIE's Got A Gun," TYLER is asking fans to donate $5 to JANIE'S FUND and enter to win a VIP experience with TYLER.
