iHEARTRADIO syndicated morning team ARMSTRONG & GETTY will host their 5th annual fundraiser for FISHER HOUSE from MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9th, through FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13th, to commemorate VETERAN'S DAY.  

Over the past four years, ARMSTRONG & GETTY listeners have donated more than $1.7 million to FISHER HOUSE to help them build new FISHER homes on the grounds of VA and military medical centers to help bring military families  together as their loved ones receive medical treatment. This year, the goal is to raise an additional $500,000 for FISHER HOUSE and surpass the $2 million mark.  

The FISHER HOUSE program is a unique private-public partnership that supports AMERICA's military in their time of need. There is at least one FISHER HOUSE at every major military medical center across the country to assist families in need and to ensure that they are provided with the comforts of home in a supportive environment.

“Not all battles are fought on the battlefield,” says FISHER HOUSE founder KEN FISHER.  “A medical crisis, the most personal battle of all, can attack a loved one unexpectedly at any time.  This can result in panic and confusion when the family is forced to find a place to stay in a strange city. Providing a home away from home, free of charge, near their loved one’s bedside, allows these families to focus on what matters most. We thank ARMSTRONG & GETTY and their listeners for helping us help the families of our WOUNDED WARRIORS.”
