WTPT/Forest City, NC's The Rise Guys Launch Marathon Broadcast To Benefit Toys For Tots

The Rise Guys Rise To The Occasion

ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS Rock WTPT (93.3 THE PLANET)/FOREST CITY, NC's "THE RISE GUYS Morning Show" will host their 12th annual 28 HOUR BROADCAST benefiting TOYS FOR TOTS, beginning this THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19th, at 6a (ET) and ending 10a (ET) on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20th. The broadcast raises thousands of dollars in toys for local children for CHRISTMAS each year with 2014 bringing in over $4,000 in cash donations, as well as 3,663 toys.

THE RISE GUYS' MATTMAN commented: "People ask me every year how I stay up for so many hours. I always say caffeine! But this year I turned 40 and cut out caffeine. Truthfully, seeing folks coming out with the toys and teaching their kids about giving to those less fortunate is such a blessing. And that's truly what keeps me going. We have the best fan base in the world -- so giving, so loyal."

The broadcast will be held at BON SECOURS WELLNESS ARENA  in downtown GREENVILLE, NC. The RISE GUYS will register donors for prizes including: tickets to the TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, the GREENVILLE SWAMP RABBITS, as well as autographed entertainment memorabilia including guitars, and other prizes.
