Three Country Stations Win Top Honors At Indiana Broadcasters Association Spectrum Awards

Country radio took home the Gold in three categories at SATURDAY's (11/14) INDIANA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION "28TH ANNUAL SPECTRUM AWARDS." Awards were given to the Station Of The Year in three different market categories, with Country stations snagging each of the three top honors.
EMMIS Country WLHK (97.1 HANK FM)/INDIANAPOLIS, EMMIS Country WTHI (HI-99)/TERRE HAUTE, and BREWER BROADCASTING Country WQLK (KICKS 96)/RICHMOND were each named Station Of The Year in their respective market categories. Additionally, 'QLK took home honors for Radio Station Broadcast Personality Or Team for JOSH & THE BUDDHA as well as Website/Multi-Media. For a full list of winners visit the IBA site.
"It's an honor to be named Station Of The Year by the INDIANA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION," said WTHI PD ERIC MICHAELS. "To be recognized by a group of your peers to show the great work that local radio does is a great honor! I'm proud of the work we've done at WTHI, and being able to take this back to the WABASH VALLEY three out of the last five years!"
