FCC Names Charles Cooper Enforcement Bureau Field Director In L.A.

BROADCASTING AND CABLE is reporting that the FCC's Enforcement Bureau has appointed DU TREIL, LUNDIN AND RACKLEY partner and Sr. Engineer CHARLES COOPER as its first Field Director.

The appointment of COOPER, to be based in LOS ANGELES, was made in an internal email to staff from Bureau Chief TRAVIS LEBLANC.  COOPER's appointment comes as the FCC prepares to close 11 of its 24 field offices; SAN DIEGO District Director JIM LYON will oversee the L.A. office while the new management team is arranged.
