INDEPENDENCE MEDIA has closed on its $3.8 million purchase of Religion WVEL, Contemporary Christian WPIA (HOPE 98.5), and Rock WIXO (99X)/PEORIA from REGENT. JOHN PIERCE AND CO. served as broker for the transaction.
