Publishing veteran MARK FRIEDMAN, label executive DAVID ROBKIN, and artist manager LARRY MAZER have collaborated to form DELUGE MUSIC, a boutique publishing company with offices in NASHVILLE and LOS ANGELES. DELUGE MUSIC will sign writers and artists across Country, Rock, and Pop genres. Initial signings include writer/producer KEVIN SAVIGAR, writer/producer ORAN THORNTON, and writer/artist CHRISTINE CONNOLLY.
FRIEDMAN will serve as President of DELUGE MUSIC and split his time between LOS ANGELES and NASHVILLE offices. GRAVITY GONE MUSIC owner STEPHANIE GREENE will come on board to helm the NASHVILLE offices while continuing her work with her own company.
"We decided to form DELUGE MUSIC over breakfast a little more than a month ago," said FRIEDMAN. "We wanted to follow up with our previous success and join forces to create a publishing company that is worldwide in its reach but 'boutique' in terms of how we work with our writers. By forming DELUGE MUSIC, we're taking the next step towards making our vision a reality."
