KVWF/Wichita Rebrands As HANK FM

CONNOISSEUR MEDIA Country KVWF (100.5 THE WOLF)/WICHITA underwent a complete rebranding TODAY (11/23), changing its moniker to "THE NEW 100.5 HANK-FM," with a "Legends Of Country" position that will feature a variety of hits from the 70s to early 2000s, with special emphasis on the 90s. With the move, KVWF joins the ENVISION COUNTRY NETWORK and its syndication of KROEGER MEDIA's HANK brand.

"In the past year, WOLF listeners have loved the fact that, being a locally programmed station, we stepped away from the recent Pop-Country approach of most Country stations and dabbled in bringing back those great Country hits from the 90s," said PD PAT JAMES. "Little did we realize how passionate they would be once they got a taste. The idea of taking a completely fresh and unchartered approach as 100.5 HANK FM seemed to be the perfect progression for the station and our listeners."
