Michael Ray Partners With StubHub And More, Donates Instruments To Local High School

YESTERDAY (11/23), ATLANTIC/TEAM WEA artist MICHAEL RAY joined with STUBHUB and THE MR. HOLLAND'S OPUS FOUNDATION to surprise nearly 600 students and staff at NASHVILLE'S HUNTERS LANE HIGH SCHOOL with the special instrument donation valued at $39K. A few students in the high school band addressed their fellow classmates about what music means to them at a surprise presentation at lunch.

After the students spoke, the curtains on stage were drawn open to reveal the new instruments. After the donation, RAY performed for the students and spoke to the students about why music means so much to him and the importance of following your dreams. He met with students after the presentation and shared his contact information with those who were interested in making music.
