BIG RAPIDS RADIO NETWORK Country WWBR (BIG COUNTRY 100.9)/BIG RAPIDS, MI morning host and radio vet BILL BECKWITH has announced that he is hanging up his headphones and will retire from his long career in radio.

BECKWITH spent more than 40 years at WWBR/BIG RAPIDS on the morning show, and he voiced many local college and high school athletic teams in the BIG RAPIDS area. BECKWITH said that he will come back on occasion to make cameo appearances on the morning show, which will be taken over by WWBR's "ROB & LOUISE" beginning MONDAY, OCTOBER 30th.
