ZWERLING Talk KSCO-A/SANTA CRUZ, CA was quarantined MONDAY afternoon when a staffer opened an envelope and a white powder spilled out. The SANTA CRUZ SENTINEL reports that the county HazMat team and Environmental Health Dept. sealed off a half-mile stretch of Portola Drive in LIVE OAK to guard against the possibility that the substance was anthrax. Three employees were exposed to the powder but showed no signs of problems; after being hosed down and put into "clean suits," they were allowed to leave by 5:30 MONDAY afternoon.
