BLASTER RECORDS has released its promotion staff as part of a strategic initiative to refocus on a new business strategy. The staff was hired in-house three YEARS ago. BLASTER will continue to operate out of NASHVILLE and CLEVELAND with a shifting focus that moves radio partnership to a different priority tier.
Exiting BLASTER staff includes VP/Promotion BOB REEVES and Dirs./Regional Promotion GLENN NOBLIT, TYLER WAUGH, DAVE COLLINS, and BART ALLMAND.
"This has been a very difficult decision for us," BLASTER RECORDS Pres. DEREK SIMON told ALL ACCESS. "BOB REEVES and our entire team have worked as hard as any staff out there to drive airplay for our artists in an incredibly competitive environment. BLASTER RECORDS will continue operating out of both NASHVILLE and CLEVELAND, focusing on projects where radio partnership remains part of our strategy, but isn't necessarily the primary focus. We will also look to develop new artists from the ground up, where a presence on the radio is on their horizon rather than front and center. Finally, we will focus energy and resources on a publishing venture, which we've had in development for the last year or so."
