SiriusXM's David Srebnik, WABE/Atlanta's Lois Reitzes Named To Musical America's 'Influencers' List

SIRIUSXM's Classical Music PD DAVID SREBNIK and ATLANTA PUBLIC SCHOOLS News-Talk-Classical WABE/ATLANTA Director of Arts and Cultural Programming LOIS REITZES have been named to MUSICAL AMERICA's list of the site's "MUSICAL AMERICA 30: The Influencers."

In honoring SREBNIK, the site writes that he "has been sharing his passion for music (and his insider’s knowledge as a onetime professional clarinetist) with millions of listeners.... his programming also is known for its delightful unpredictability."

On REITZES, the site notes her fight to keep Classical music as an element of WABE's programming after it dropped music from the weekday daytime schedule in favor of News-Talk, hosting an hour-long arts midday show and evening show and overseeing five hours of WABE-HD2's Classical schedule.
