NFL Super Bowl 50
With a new album, "A Head Full Of Dreams," out tomorrow (DECEMBER 4th), several sources, including the WALL STREET JOURNAL, have announced that COLDPLAY will headline the SUPER BOWL 50 halftime show, FEBRUARY 7th, 2016, at LEVI'S STADIUM in SANTA CLARA, CA.
The band is expected, given the exposure, to put tickets on sale for its NORTH AMERICAN tour soon afterwards.
In other news, following the lead of ADELE, it looks like SPOTIFY fans will have to wait for the band's new album, though the album is expected to be available on paid streaming services.
BRUNO MARS is also slated to perform, while BEYONCE, who guests on COLDPL;AY's new album, is "in talks" to make a guest appearance.
The NFL is expected to make the announcement during the nationally televised game between the GREEN BAY PACKERS and DETROIT LIONS tonight.
