Connoisseur Media Morning Team Chaz And AJ Host Annual Connecticut Toy Drive

Top-rated CONNOISSEUR MEDIA Morning Show duo CHAZ AND AJ, who broadcast on Classic Rock WDRC (102.9 THE WHALE)/BLOOMFIELD, CT, Rock WPLR (99.1)/NEW HAVEN, CT and Classic Rock WFOX (95.9 THE FOX)/BRIDGEPORT, CT, will broadcast from the WEBSTER BANK ARENA to help raise toys and cash for local children in need this holiday season.

This event annually averages about $100,000 in toys and cash for five local charities which includes: McGIVNEY CENTER OF BRIDGEPORT, CHILDREN'S CEDNTER OF HAMDEN, BOYS AND GIRLS VILLAGE OFMILFORD, CONNECTKIDS OF HARTFORD and VILLAGE FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN OF HARTFORD.

"We live in the richest state in the country, unfortunately for too many kids in CONNECTICUT, life is very difficult," explained CHAZ. "Our hope is that we can make a positive difference for those kids this holiday season"

The broadcast features performances by WHITFORD/ST. HOLMES featuring AEROSMITH's BRAD WHITFORD, guitarist GARY HOEY and the kids from the local SCHOOL OF ROCK.

Also expecting to attend are some of the state’s politicians, local TV personalities and area comics.

“It truly is quite a show,” said Operations Manager KEITH DAKIN. "It covers all elements of the spectrum from music to politics to comedy and, the biggest of all, helping our community.”
