WREW/Cincinnati Raises 'Toys For Tunes'

TODAY (12/4), HUBBARD BROADCASTING AC WREW (NEW 94.9)/CINCINNATI turned its airwaves over to its listeners from 6a-11p as part of its "TOYS FOR TUNES" drive with 100% of the proceeds going to support the U.S. MARINE CORPS TOYS FOR TOTS program.

Listener could request a song for a $20 donation to TOYS FOR TOTS, or for $100 they could hear their song next.  Business owners could sponsor an entire hour of song requests for a $1,000 contribution.  GOCO SHELL and MEIJER STORES offered to double donations with MEIJER gift cards to TOYS FOR TOTS.

According to morning show co-host KAREN VAN ZANT of the RAY & KAREN morning show, "Last year we raised over $13,000. RAY and I have access to almost every song made so we can raise even more this year!!"
