Networking, education and great music are COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) traditions, and so too is the ALBRIGHT & O’MALLEY & BRENNER Pre-CRS Seminar, with its 22nd annual edition set for MONDAY, FEBRUARY 8th at the OMNI DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE from 10:30a-1:30p (CT).
An agenda mainstay for this “seminar before the seminar” has been the A&O&B “Roadmap” study, an online perceptual tracking Country P1’s music, digital consumption, and social networking trends. The 2016 version is the 11th annual “Roadmap,” and includes data from thousands of P1’s from the U.S. and CANADA. More panels and speakers will be announced in the next week.
“For 22 years this has been one of the most special half days of any conference,” said A&O&B partner MIKE O’MALLEY. “The pace is quick, the speakers have come from Country radio as well as businesses as diverse as STARBUCKS and politics. It’s a half-day of thought-provoking and actionable sessions that help set the stage for CRS.”
REPUBLIC NASHVILLE will once again sponsor the event, with a yet-to-be-announced musical guest appearing. Already confirmed: GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM winner, and NASHVILLE SONGWRITER’S HALL OF FAME member DON SCHILTZ.
“Today's hectic and demanding schedules often prevent valuable face time with peers,” added A&O&B partner BECKY BRENNER. “This is an opportunity to share, learn, grow and re-energize for the new year.” The seminar is free and is open to all clients as well as to broadcasters in non-competitive situations.
